Visit to Visitation

Last Sunday we had the privilege of having two visitors at church, one of which had come a couple of times in the past. The two young men came from different religious backgrounds. Antoine was a Catholic and Ishmael was Assembly of God. Both were friends of one of our bible students. Last Sunday after the service we had the chance to talk a few minutes. I invited them to come over to the house so we could visit and to explain a little more what we as Baptists believe. Today, we had that meeting. After about two hours of discussing different beliefs, answering questions, and eating peanuts, Ishmael spoke up and said that he wanted to be saved. After he prayed and asked to Lord Jesus to be his Savior, Antoine said he needed to be saved as well. PRAISE THE LORD! Please pray for these two new believers as they began their new life in Christ.

One Down, One To Go

As of last Friday evening, phase one of our building project was complete. Praise the Lord! We are now advancing on to phase two. This phase includes two specific projects: the wall which will encompass our property and a small one room house for two of the students from the Bible Institute to live in. They started construction yesterday. Our desire is to be in our permanent location by the end of October. Please pray with us that the construction will be complete.
