Blessings from unexpected places

It's amazing how God uses the unexpected to bless our lives. This past weekend I received a call from my dad. He mentioned that a gentleman we used to work for in construction wanted to meet with me. He thought he wanted to help us financially with our ministry. WOW...what an unexpected surprise.

We had lunch Monday in Springfield. After talking about family, the mission field and old times, he got out his checkbook. Chuck and his wife handed me a check for $2,000.00. GOD IS GOOD! If you have been keeping up with us, you know we have been praying for money to help with set-up cost, tickets, shipping, etc. Isn't it amazing how God sends blessings from unexpected places.

Packing, Packing, Packing

The question Pam and I have on our minds is how much stuff can we actually cram into a 20' container. The last few weeks we have had local meetings in MO. Therefore, that has allowed us to get a lot of this shopping and packing accomplished. However, there is still much to do. We are trying to condense things as much as possible. I even bought 60 vacuum bags a while back. But we are still not sure everything is going to fit.

Pray for Pam. She is starting to feel the pressure. We go back on the road this weekend. Pray that we can organize our time in such a way we can get everthing accomplished.

Good News for Christmas

One of the greatest things that Pam and I could have
received for Christmas was a good report from our
daughter’s doctor’s appointments. Many of you will
remember all the complications concerning Aubrey’s
birth. One of which was a hole in the heart. Good
news…the hole is gone! After many tests, the doctor
concluded that she is just fine. Praise the Lord!
Aubrey also had an appointment with the team of nurses
who monitor her development. There was some concern
about mental disabilities surrounding the birth.
After several tests, we were told that she is right on
track with the majority of her development, and she is
ahead of schedule in a few areas.

What a miracle. Thank you all for praying.
